We’re working with existing bike hire businesses to assemble a range of 30 classic retro, euro, cruiser and cargo bikes available for hire during Bikefest and the month before (Wednesday 12 September to Monday 8 October).
Free bikes available to use for the NSW Bike Week Community Fun Ride
Sunday 16 September, 9am to 11am. Fernleigh Track – Station St Whitebridge entry.
Plus free breakfast, safety checks and entertainment.

Hire rates
4 hours – $25; 1 day – $35; per extra day – $15; per week – $90 (inc. GST)
Cargo and electric bikes – POA. Locks and helmets provided. Please bring ID. Discounts for group bookings. Bikes will be available from Newcastle foreshore or can be delivered to your location. Delivery fee according to distance, number of bikes and hire period.
10% discount off hire fees for patrons of:
- Parks and Leisure Association National Conference, 16 to 19 September
- This Is Not Art, 27 September to 1 October
- Australian Transplant Games, 29 September to 6 October
