Ridelogo_jaycoJayco Newcastle Rides will provide an opportunity for people to join family and friends and enjoy safe, fun rides to Bikefest and other attractions throughout the region. To encourage participation, we’ll provide maps and 1,000 directional signs to identify the best cycle routes as well as bike safety checks, bike parking, refreshments, entertainment and traffic control at key locations.

Families with young kids will be able to park at stations on Honeysuckle Drive, Tighes Hill TAFE or Stockton Foreshore and enjoy safe rides to the Bikefest via off-road cycleways.

Public transport and cycling will be encouraged by advertising connecting rail, bus and ferry services and identifying opportunities for bike transport.
